Meet Shannon Winters
Shannon began her career in the medical field as a medical assistant in an Obstetrics and Gynecology office while earning her bachelor's degree in business marketing and management. She continued on to earn a master's degree in Christian and Pastoral counseling to focus on certifications in Marriage and Family therapy and then went back
Shannon began her career in the medical field as a medical assistant in an Obstetrics and Gynecology office while earning her bachelor's degree in business marketing and management. She continued on to earn a master's degree in Christian and Pastoral counseling to focus on certifications in Marriage and Family therapy and then went back to get a second Master's in Substance Use and Addiction. She has recently completed her Ph.D. courses in Psychology and has all but her dissertation completed. Shannon is a faith-based counselor and clergy in her independently owned business. She is in good standing with several associations including National Christian Counseling Association, American Association of Christian Counselors, American Counseling Association, and National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. Shannon deals primarily with marriage and family conflict, blended families, and depression/anxiety among adults and teens.
